Trio Arrested After Stealing From Leoma Business

A trio of individuals was apprehended late last week after allegedly stealing items from a Leoma business, leading authorities to solve a second theft case.

Police reports show that Derrick Wade Kelley, 34, Lisa Marie Kelley, 31, and Shannon Nicole Alexander, 34, were booked through the Lawrence County Detention Center on theft charges in connection with a theft that occurred at the Leoma Dollar General Store on U.S. Highway 43 South.

Store officials reported that, after being in the store, the trio left without paying for several items. Law enforcement officers located the suspect vehicle at a home on South Locust Avenue in Lawrenceburg, where the arrests were made.

During a search of the home, officers report finding the stolen merchandise, along with items reportedly stolen from Quick Stop on Prosser Road.

All three suspects were scheduled an initial in Lawrence County General Sessions Court on February 5, 2012.
